One of the most exciting and distinctive new acts to emerge in recent years, Matt Hollins has already won the highly respected Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year 2004 and was a semi-finalist in the BBC New Comedy Awards. Radio credits so far include BBC7 and Talksport.
His dry, deadpan delivery is offset by sharp, quirky observations and ideas and coupled with his highly original material,Matt is a comedian who has found his unique voice and persona very early on. Other competition wins include: Beat the Frog, (twice) at The Frog and Bucket in Manchester and King Gong Show at London's Comedy Store. Judges at The Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year commended him in particular for the originality and standard of his material as well as his strong persona.
